In this introductory course, participants learn about the Finnish Schools on the Move programme and are introduced to ways of making the school day more active. The introductory course includes video examples, quizzes, and tasks, which the participants can test out with their pupils in a classroom environment.
The course is organised via an online platform and the materials are accessible for one month.
The course includes the following topics:
- Overview of the Schools on the Move model and active school day research
- Physically active breaks
- Versatile utilisation of the classroom
- Physically active learning
- Spicing up traditional teaching with functional activities.
